The Carpenter Performing Arts Center is located at 6200 Atherton St., on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. The center is just off the 405-Fwy, between the 605-Fwy and 710-Fwy interchanges.
Safe and convenient parking in front of the theatre is $5. (CSULB operated - Exact change recommended.)
FROM LOS ANGELES: Take the 405-Fwy South to the Palo Verde exit. Turn RIGHT onto southbound Palo Verde. Pass Stearns and turn RIGHT on Atherton St. Take the 1ST LEFT onto campus and park in Lot 12, adjacent to the theatre.
FROM ORANGE COUNTY: Take the 405-Fwy North to the 7th Street/22W Fwy. Take Studebaker Rd. exit on RIGHT. Continue North on Studebaker and turn LEFT on Atherton St. Take the 1ST LEFT past Palo Verde Av. onto campus
and park in Lot 12, adjacent to the theatre.
FROM 605 FWY - Take the 605 South to 7th Street/22 Fwy. West.
(just before merging onto 405 Fwy). Continue with directions from Orange County.
