Beauty and suspense are in store with Giuseppe Verdi’s intensely dramatic Requiem. A not-to-be-missed performance that fully utilizes the grand scale of the Carpenter Center stage and its acoustic capabilities—as 200 members from combined CSULB choirs and a 75-piece symphony orchestra illuminate Verdi’s stirring meditation on life and death.
The Verdi Requiem is one of the most spectacular, awe-inspiring works in classical music—from a haunting portrayal of judgment day to some of the most beautiful and dramatic music for soloists, chorus and large orchestra ever written!
